100% e-Lodgement Approaching Fast
The move to 100% electronic lodgement for titles transactions is nearly complete, a shift that has seen the time taken for registering the vast majority of land transactions reduced from days to seconds.
LINZ Maps On Track
A new 1:250,000 topographic map series (Topo250) will be released by LINZ next year. The Topo250 joins the 1:50,000 series (Topo50), which is being released in September 2009.
Weeding Lake Wanaka
For the first time in decades many Lake Wanaka bays are now virtually clear of the invasive weed lagarosophon. Landscan joins LINZ and NIWA staff on a midwinter inspection of the lake.
