LINZ Statement of Intent 2009-2012

Land Information New Zealand’s (LINZ) Statement of Intent 2009-2012 was tabled in Parliament today.

The Statement of Intent (SOI) is a public accountability document published annually and details LINZ’s strategic direction for the coming three years.

LINZ has identified ‘key initiatives’ where we expect to make the most impact towards achieving our outcomes and the Government’s priorities for the land information portfolio, which are:

• developing and implementing the Government’s South Island high country policy
• implementing the New Zealand Geospatial Strategy, and
• encouraging overseas investment in New Zealand.
