Help Shape the Future of Conveyancing and Land Development

30 September 2011

Land Information New Zealand, the New Zealand Law Society, Auckland District Law Society and the New Zealand Bankers Association have formed a joint working group to reach a common view of the state of the conveyancing and land development environment in 2020. It is also seeking ideas on how key participants will contribute in the lead-up to 2020 and what needs to be done.

The working group met in May 2011 and September 2011 to:

  • Discuss feedback from stakeholders and refine their initial view of the future conveyancing/land development environment
  • Discuss the challenges in moving from 'today' to 'tomorrow'
  • Agree strategic priorities and a programme of initiatives for moving into the future.

The working group seeks your input into the final report that will contain recommendations on strategic priorities and a programme of initiatives as we move into the future.

Your input is valuable and the working group encourages and requests your participation in shaping tomorrow's conveyancing environment.

Consultation closed on Wednesday 26 October 2011.
