Summary

This standard defines the national vertical reference system: New Zealand Vertical Datum 2009 (NZVD2009).  NZVD2009 normal-orthometric heights are measured above the New Zealand Quasigeoid 2009 (NZGeoid09) surface.  The standard defines offsets to 13 existing local vertical datums so that heights can be consistently converted between them, NZVD2009 and the NZGD2000 ellipsoidal height system.
