Strategic Development & Support
The Strategic Development and Support Group helps with strategic and business planning and provides a wide range of support services for LINZ. It also provides leadership to the New Zealand Geospatial Strategy via the New Zealand Geospatial Office.

Finance & Administration
The Finance & Administration teams provides all financial support services within LINZ and office administration.
Human Resources
The Human Resources team supports LINZ by translating the outcomes from the Statement of Intent into practical reality by ensuring the business attracts and retains the people with the right skills and behaviour. Find out more about careers at LINZ.
Knowledge Management
The Knowledge Management team provides advice, guidance and support in the areas of acquiring, creating, distributing, applying and reusing intellectual assets across LINZ. We do this by managing electronic and physical records management, providing library services and leading knowledge management activities in order to enable better organisational decision-making.
Office of Strategy Management
The Office of Strategy Management coordinates LINZ's strategic planning and reporting to Parliament, and is the liaison point with the office of the Minister for Land Information.
Risk, Project & Procurement Services
Risk, Project and Procurement Services ensures that procurement processes and procedures meet government and LINZ policies (more about tenders) and coordinates projects (see LINZ consultation, projects and reviews) and sustainability at LINZ.
Strategic Communications
The Strategic Communications team manages LINZ's communications, including media relations (read LINZ's news and notices), and produces corporate publications.
Security
Security ensures LINZ security policies, standards and processes meet government requirements and address LINZ security risks.
Business and Regulatory Assurance
Business and Regulatory Assurance provides independent assurance to the Chief Executive, Executive Team and Regulators. They also provide advisory services to complement the assurance role, and to support good governance within LINZ.
New Zealand Geospatial Office
The New Zealand Geospatial Office is the coordinating body for implementing the New Zealand Geospatial Strategy.
