Official Information Act Requests

LINZ has obligations under the Official Information Act.

You can request information that is held by LINZ. The request can be written or oral and can be made by phone, fax, letter, or emailing info@linz.govt.nz.

Please make sure your request includes:

  • your name
  • postal or email address, and
  • the specific information you are requesting.

We will acknowledge your request as soon as possible. We must make a decision on your request no later than 20 working days after we receive it. In some circumstances we may need an extension of time; if not we will provide the information to you as soon as practicable.
