LINZ has a number of tools to help you. You can use:
It is very important that each CSD is carefully checked before it is lodged with LINZ. The Material Requisition List (MRL) is a checklist for items that will be requisitioned during the validation process. The list was discussed with the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors and other stakeholders. The validation process provides a limited check and only material items are requisitioned. Plans may also be subject to random audits which cover a more comprehensive range of items including field checks. The surveyor's quality assurance (QA) process should aim to ensure that all aspects of the survey and CSD are correct. The LINZ cadastral survey audit process is currently being reviewed. A revised list of audit items will be published on the Surveyors web page. It will cover a similar range of items to the previous list published as Appendix B of the OSG Standard 4 Version 2 Lodgement Electronic lodgement Landonline e-survey customers are able to lodge CSDs electronically. Manual lodgement You can make manual lodgements through the post or at a LINZ Processing Centre. Manual lodgements for CSD s cost more and will take longer to process than the same lodgements done electronically. Validation We check your CSD against the Surveyor-General's Rules for Cadastral Survey 2002/2. If LINZ finds material errors in your CSD it will be requisitioned and you will have to resubmit the CSD and pay a resubmission fee. Clarify a requisition or rejection If one of your CSDs has been requisitioned by LINZ and you would like a further explanation:
Request a review If you wish to seek a review of the reasons for a requisitioned CSD:
You can check the Surveyor Generals standards, policies and guidelines. Resubmission/Representation Fees The Cadastral Survey (Fees) Regulations 2003, which came into force on 1 July 2003, included the provision for a fee to be charged on items that are resubmitted to LINZ after being requisitioned. You can see the resubmission fee rates on the Fees and Charges Schedule. |
