It is very important to that each document is carefully checked before it is lodged with LINZ. The Titles Requistion/Rejection Item List allows you to be clear on the requirements for the validation process. The list was discussed with the Law Society and other stakeholders. Lodgement Electronic Lodgement Landonline e-dealing customers can lodge simple title transactions electronically. e-dealing is the fastest, most cost-effective way of lodging simple title dealings. Manual Lodgement You can also make manual lodgements through the post or at a LINZ Processing Centre. Manual lodgements for simple title transactions cost more than the same transactions lodged through e-dealing. Validation We check your documents against the Titles Requistion/Rejection Item List. These items are considered to be triggers for requisitions or rejections because they are material to the legal requirements governing the registration of land title transactions. If LINZ finds errors in your title dealing and it is rejected you will lose your initial priority in the processing queue. Title requisitions retain priority. Resubmission/Representation Fees The Land Transfer Amendment Regulations 2003, which came into force on 1 July 2003, included the provision for a fee to be charged on items that are resubmitted or represented to LINZ after being requisitioned or rejected.
