New Zealand Topographic Database - NZTopo

Vector Data from the New Zealand Topographic Database (NZTopo) can be either:

• Purchased in LSLIFF (pdf 96KB) format from the map and chart warehouse
• Purchased in a variety of formats from data distributors

LINZ does not provide raster topographic data of 1:50 000 scale mapping. A number of geospatial companies offer this service.

• Technical Information about NZTopo (pdf 96KB) for a better understanding of NZTopo and its potential uses.
• NZTopo Data Dictionary Version 3.5 (HTML)
  A comprehensive description of the features contained, their source, accuracy, and other related information.
