Crown forestry licences
Crown forestry licences are a type of land record held by LINZ, similar to titles (computer registers). The licensee's name is recorded as the proprietor of the registered Crown forestry licence.
Crown forestry licences include information about the following:
- name of the proprietor
- terms and conditions imposed upon the licensee
- legal description of the land included in the licence
- the public access easements and
- the terms of public access to the land.
Obtain a copy of a licence
To find out more about a Crown forestry licence, you can order a copy of a land record.
When placing an order, select "title (current with diagram)" and enter the registration number of the licence from the list of Crown forestry licences.
