Important Update to Map Reference Converter Software

The New Zealand Map Reference Converter (NZMapConv) software has been updated to fix an error in converting coordinates from Topo50 map references to other coordinate systems.

If you downloaded the NZMapConv software before 1 October 2009, please ensure you delete it and replace it with the latest version as this contains an important update and calculation corrections.

To check the version you are using, open the NZMapConv programme, click the icon on the top left of the window and select "About ..." from the drop down menu. A dialogue box will open that displays the software version number. You should be using version 1.0.13 or later. If not, please download and install the current version of the software.
