Results from Our Geodetic Services Questionnaire
The results are in for LINZ's geodetic services questionnaire, which ran online from July to October. Thanks to the 318 people who took part and told us what they think of these services.
Part of LINZ’s commitment to surveyors, territorial authorities and other parties interested in the cadastre is to ensure the geodetic services we provide online are as usable and effective as possible, and that they meet our customers' needs.
The questionnaire was designed to determine which of our customers are using these online tools and why, which tools they’re using, what they think of the current services, and how they could be improved.
The questionnaire focused in particular on the geodetic marks database, coordinate conversions, and PositioNZ.
What will happen with the results?
As well as the improvements we suggested as part of the questions on each service, the open comments fields of the questionnaire yielded some useful feedback and ideas for making the services we provide even better.
The results will now be analysed to assess and prioritise the suggestions and determine how they could be put into action.
Ongoing feedback
If you have any comments or suggestions on our online geodetic services, or any other services LINZ provides, please email them to customersupport@linz.govt.nz.
