Finding content on this site

There are two main types of content on the site:

Core content is information about the services and resources that LINZ provides and the roles that we perform. This information is located under subject areas located on the navigation bar under the branding strip at the top of the page, for example Topography, Survey System.

When you select a section the section navigation appears on the left of the screen.

Supporting content is information about LINZ and information related to the site. This information can be accessed via links at the top right and bottom left of the page, for example Contact us, Disclaimer and Copyright.

Audience pages

This site features pages for our key audience groups. These pages can be accessed from the links on the left of each page.

These pages act like homepages for each audience group (eg surveyors, property professionals) and provide customised "quick links" to the site's core and supporting content that will be of interest to that audience group.

Search

You can search for information wherever you are on the site by entering your search term into the box on the top right of the page.

If you want more searching options use the Advanced Search link in the Search box and you will be able to refine your search, for example by searching for a combination of words, or excluding others.

Site map

The site map is available from the supporting links and provides yet another way to access content on the site. It provides links to all the main pages on the site. If you want to browse for a subject then this is a fast way to see all the information categories on the site at once.

The LINZ logo in the branding strip on the top left of every page is a link to the homepage.

General queries

You can use the contact form to send us any questions, suggestions or comments you have about any aspect of LINZ.

Specific questions

If you have a question about specific content on the site or a LINZ service or resource you can also use the general contact form to send us your query and we will pass it on to the appropriate person. You can also use this form for feedback on the website.
