How to Lodge a Manual Dealing
The title lodgement form is used by lawyers and other land professionals to manually lodge title documents, either over the counter at LINZ processing centres or via post.
The latest version of the lodgement form was developed for use from 1 September 2007. This new version of the form calculates the total fees payable for dealings based on the new schedule of fees which came into force on that date.
- Download lodgement form (pdf 679KB) - This version must be used for all documents and surveys lodged with LINZ from 1 September 2007. LINZ will no longer accept the previous version of the lodgement form, so please delete it from your computer or network.
How do I use the form?
Once you have saved the form to your computer, follow the User Guide below to complete the form. The user guide can also be saved to your computer as with the lodgement form so you can view both at your leisure. Then print the form out and lodge it with your documents or survey data, by post or at a LINZ processing centre.
Remember you only need to print TWO copies for lodgement purposes.
How to withdraw an unregistered instrument
If you have lodged a dealing, but would like to withdraw it before it is registered, please complete the withdrawal of unregistered instrument/s form (pdf 47KB).
