The New Zealand Chart Catalogue includes an index to charts by region, a numerical chart list, ocean sounding charts, general bathymetric chart of the oceans (GEBCO), and a record of chart corrections published in Notices to Mariners.
The New Zealand Chart Catalogue, NZ202 14th Edition is available as a searchable database by using the search criteria in the drop-down menus below. A printable version of the chart catalogue is available below.
If you know the name or number of the chart you want, use the "choose chart" drop down menu. If you don't know the name or number of the chart, use the "choose region" drop down menu and select the region in which you think your chart would appear.
The New Zealand Chart Catalogue, NZ202 14th Edition (pdf 847KB) is available for downloading in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. The file is corrected with the most recent Notices to Mariners. To download the file click the link with the right mouse button and select "Save target as..."
The majority of New Zealand charts now show depths and heights in metres. Mariners should ensure that the charts and publications onboard their vessels are adequate for the voyage and are up to date according to this catalogue and Notices to Mariners.
