  • "Hadfield Clearing" is now the official geographic name, as published in the New Zealand Gazette on 9 September 2010, and in relevant newspapers.

Description

Open area surrounding an early settler homestead, maintained for over a century and now regenerating, rising to the surrounding hillsides, located at the western reaches of Awaroa Inlet, within Abel Tasman National Park. Topo50 map BP25 - Motueka, GR 992 768.
