Official Place Names with Macrons
Many official New Zealand and Antarctic place names include macrons (eg Waimangō Point).
The New Zealand Geographic Place Names Database does not currently display macrons. The New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (NZGB) has compiled the following lists of official place names with macrons to assist in mapping, signage, reporting, legislation, or other official documents.
