• NZMG Orthophoto Index Map or the 
• NZTM Orthophoto Index Map.

Aerial Photography

Aerial photographs are obtained on a regular basis to update the New Zealand Topographic Database (NZTopo). 

If you wish to purchase Aerial Photography please contact New Zealand Aerial Mapping Ltd (NZAM). They hold the comprehensive Crown Aerial Film Negative Archive consisting of photos from 1937 to the present day.

Orthophotos

A digital orthophoto is an image  at a constant scale, derived from an aerial photograph. Image displacements caused by camera tilt and terrain relief have been removed.
