We make sure overseas investors get consent when they need to and keep the commitments they make when they apply for consent.

You can help by telling us when you think someone has:

  • acquired sensitive land without consent,
  • obtained an interest of $100million or more in a New Zealand business without consent, or
  • not kept the commitments they made when they applied for investment.

To help us assess if the Rules have been broken, please give us as much information as you can about the suspected breach of the Overseas Investment Rules.
