Interpretation guide to the Rules for Cadastral Survey 2010

An interim guide has been published to assist interpretation of the Rules for Cadastral Survey 2010.

Part 1 covers Rules 1-7, 13-15, and dispensations. It explains the content of the new Rules, the relationships between related rules and provides examples to aid interpretation. It also highlights differences between the requirements under the Rules and past practices.

Part 2, covering CSDs, will be issued separately.

Your feedback on the interpretation guide is welcome. Depending on the feedback received, updated versions of the interpretation guide will be published with a new effective date on the cover. It is therefore important that you always refer to the website for the most up-to-date version.

Cadastral Survey Guidelines for e-survey

The Cadastral Survey Guidelines for e-survey relate to surveys submitted as digital Cadastral Survey Datasets in accordance with Schedule 3 of the Surveyor-General's Rules for Cadastral Survey 2002/2.

CAUTION: These guidelines have not been revised since 2004; consequently they should not be relied on as a current statement of survey requirements and practice.
