Summary

This guideline outlines the requirements for survey plans to be depositedi n accordanceth e provisions of the Resource Management Act 1991 (as amended by the Resource Management Amendment Act 1997).

It also sets out:

• the deposit requirements for unit title plans;
• the authorisations required under the Transit Act 1989 and Local Government Act 1974 for road frontage and access;
• the requirements for issuing new certificates of title in respect of subdivisions generally.

This guideline does not include the requirements for a plan to be approved as to survey.
