LINZ Delivers Presentations at NZIS Conference

A number of LINZ staff presented at the annual New Zealand Institute of Surveyors (NZIS) Conference, held recently in Marlborough, including CE Colin MacDonald who presented on LINZ's strategic direction including the cadastral surveying and conveyancing industry, the new Topo50 map series, and geospatial information.

National Geodesist Graeme Blick and Geodetic Surveyor Dave Collett presented on the CORS (continuously operating reference station) Network.

National Geodesist Graeme Blick and Geodetic Surveyor Dave Collett presented alongside Ken Gledhill (GNS Science), Hugh Cowan (EQC), Bruce Robinson (Global Survey), Martin Hewitt (GeoSystems), and Malcolm Archbold (Beca) on the Role of the Private and Public Sectors in the Development of a National CORS Network for New Zealand.
