LINZ Christchurch Office Relocation & Record Requests - Update

A reminder to all customers that Land Information New Zealand’s Christchurch office is relocating to new premises from Monday 15 November, and an update on record requests that have been delayed following September’s earthquake.

Office relocation

The office at 195 Hereford Street in Christchurch will close at 4pm today, Thursday 11 November. From 9am on Monday 15 November, the office will operate from the new location at 112 Tuam St, Christchurch.

The office will be closed tomorrow, Friday 12 November, for Canterbury Anniversary Day.

Record requests

Following the earthquake in Canterbury in September, access to some records has been limited.

Our records provider has confirmed that the majority of records will be provided to us on Monday 15 November, the first day at our new Christchurch premises.

It is expected that all delayed record requests will be processed by 5pm Wednesday 17 November. Those customers with outstanding requests at this time will be contacted directly.
