Core Paper Records Project
The Core Paper Records Project stemmed from LINZ's move to 100% electronic lodgement of land records through Landonline. The project designed a strategy to enable core survey and title paper records to be stored appropriately, preserved for the future and accessed when required. The project was completed in October 2007 and the strategy document is available below.
Core Paper Records Strategy - Future proofing core survey and title paper records (October 2007)
This strategy aims to enhance access to more than 167 years of historic paper records.
The strategy covers survey and title records held across all LINZ offices. The current Paper Records Implementation Programme takes account of many records that were originally excluded from the strategy.
