Topo50 Update History

On 30 January 2012, LINZ released 20 Topo50 map sheets featuring selected updates.

The new and existing maps are available for free download. For New Zealand mainland and Chatham Islands maps you can use the choose a map tool. The Offshore islands maps are available.

Files are available as both data files and image files. This release is part of the ongoing maintenance process of the Topo50 map series.

Updates since 2003

Since June 2003, map sheets have been updated according to the Topo50 map extents. This spreadsheet details when each Topo50 map sheet was last updated.

Updates before 2003

Before June 2003, map sheets were updated according to the NZMS260 map extents. This document compares the NZMS260 map sheets and when they were updated with the map sheets for Topo50, by overlaying the extents for the two series.
