New Zealand is excited to be hosting the world’s foremost standards bodies for geographic information for the first time. Kicking off on 27 November 2017, there will be two events:
- ISO’s Technical Committee for Geographic Information (#211), the world’s pinnacle standards-setting body, is convening in Wellington on Monday 27 November 2017. Read more about ISO/TC211 & Standards in Action. View the full programme from the seminar via the link below.
- On 1 December the Geo-Spatialed-Out in Wellington seminar will host Executive Director of the Open Geospatial Consortium's Standards Program, Scott Simmons, and others from the OGC community, who will be discussing how their work can be applied here in New Zealand and how we can enhance our already significant contribution to their work. - And in the week of 4 December the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) is convening its 105th meeting week in Palmerston North. Read more about the event.
