Long-term Insights Briefing
Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) and the Department of Conservation - Te Papa Atawhai (DOC) are working together to develop a long-term plan to use information and emerging technology to help biodiversity thrive.
Long-term Insights Briefings are a new requirement for agencies under the Public Service Act 2020, designed to look at future challenges and opportunities for New Zealand.

In mid-2022, we will consult on the draft briefing.
We will then present the finalised briefing to the House of Representatives by late 2022.
