Requests for a dealing to be processed urgently must be made in writing.

This can be done by post or fax, or by e-mailing customersupport@linz.govt.nz, but the best way to do this is to submit an electronic request via Landonline. If you use the Request type "Titles_Request for Urgency", your request will work flow directly to the staff member processing your dealing.

Urgency applications are assessed on a case by case basis and must include the reasons for your request.

LINZ will continue to offer urgency for any transactions that are outside the performance standard timeframe (10 working days from date of lodgement). However, urgency will not normally be approved for transactions that are within the current target timeframes as granting urgency for ‘current’ work would unfairly disadvantage work that was lodged earlier.
