World Hydrography Day

21 June 2016

Today is World Hydrography Day, a celebration of the contribution of the behind the scenes science of mapping the sea and seafloor.

The theme for this year’s World Hydrography Day 2016 is Hydrography’s contribution to well-managed seas and waterways. Our own Hydrographic Team has been making a huge contribution in this area – working hard to keep our charts up to date, as well as sharing their expertise with several South West Pacific countries.
