Working together on Crown property

10 April 2017

Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) hosted the country’s largest conference regarding Crown property last week: the Crown Property Forum 2017.

Around 150 professionals that deal with Crown property came together to discuss how to better manage these assets.

Land Information Minister Mark Mitchell gave the opening address – he talked about the expectations from the Government and New Zealanders in ensuring Crown land maximised benefits to New Zealanders.

LINZ chief executive Andrew Crisp and Director-General of Conservation Lou Sanson also addressed the Forum, providing the context behind each of their organisations and how working collaboratively helps achieve outcomes.

Thank you to all our speakers from across government and iwi.

We hoped all our delegates enjoyed the Forum, and we encourage you to come again next year.
