Landonline specialist recognised with State Services Commissioner’s Commendation for Frontline Excellence

6 November 2018

Land Information New Zealand’s Heather Doughty has been recognised for her dedication to the public service with a State Services Commissioner’s Commendation for Frontline Excellence award at the Public Service Day ceremony.

Heather has been with Land Information New Zealand for 42 years and continues to be instrumental in the ongoing development and integrity of Landonline, New Zealand’s world leading survey and titles system that underpins all property transactions country-wide.

Heather is a title and processes expert for Landonline and has invaluable experience of how the system was designed. She is dedicated to customer service and protecting the integrity of Landonline, which has seen her continually go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver high quality work.

Heather’s expertise has seen her work on projects supporting the new Land Transfer Act 2017 which comes into effect this month, and demonstrating Landonline to visiting delegations from other land registration jurisdictions.

Land Information New Zealand’s Leadership Team was unanimous in nominating Heather for this award. Her ongoing dedication to serving our customers, learning and sharing her expertise with others, and consistently providing quality advice and work, is exactly the spirit of service our public service aspires to.
