To celebrate te reo Māori we are sharing 4 stories from ‘He Korero Pūrākau mo Ngā Taunahanahatanga a Ngā Tūpuna, Place Names of the Ancestors, A Māori Oral History Atlas’ first published in 1990.
They include beautiful artwork by the late Cliff Whiting.
