What is proposed?
The proposal is to assign Waipaekākā as the official name of a stream (locally known as Pakuao Stream) in Wellington, which flows along the northeast side of Te Ahumairanhi Hill to Grosvenor Terrace, from where it is piped to the historic shoreline at the intersection of Tinakori Road and Thorndon Quay.
