Using the chart filter options
There are several ways to filter Paper Charts and ENCs using the filter options.

The resulting search will display a short list of charts matching your search criteria from which a specific chart of interest can then be selected. Click ‘Apply’ and the chart selected will then be displayed on the map view. By clicking on the highlighted area, more detailed information on the chart is displayed in the 'Chart Information' panel.
Note: to ensure you have the correct chart type selected 'Paper Chart' or 'ENC' to display the correct results.
- Filter Charts by Region
Charts can be filtered by specific areas of interest by selecting a region from the drop down list and menu and clicking 'Apply' to visualise your selection. Once a region filter is chosen, only charts associated with the selected region will displayed on the map. From the charts displayed in the map view, specific charts can be selected at a particular location and more detailed information on the chart obtained from the 'Chart Information' panel. Additional search options (chart number, title) can be used to further refine the number of charts displayed.
- Filter Charts by Scale Range
Charts can be filtered by the following scale ranges. Once a scale range is selected, only the charts associated with that scale range will be displayed on the map. Note: more than one scale range can be selected and shown at the same time.

- Detailed Chart Information
Once a chart is selected in the map view, a chart information summary is displayed on the information panel. If multiple charts are selected, the number of selected charts is shown and additional chart information can be displayed for each of the charts by selecting the scroll buttons. From the chart information summary, a link is provided to much more detailed page of information on the specific chart.
Selecting a chart
If multiple charts are selected they will be highlighted in yellow and are listed in the Chart information box. The chart which sits at the top of that list that has its attributes shown in the Chart information box, is highlighted with a thicker orange outline on the map view.
Resetting your search
If you want to clear your last search and start again, the 'Reset' button in the filter box will clear your search and filter criteria.
You can return to your original search by clicking the 'Home' button below the 'Zoom in and out' Icons on the right-hand side.
Place name search
To locate a particular place in the map view, type the place name you want to search for in the 'Place Name' search box. Using predictive text, relevant search results will be shown based on your query. Selecting the specific place name of interest from results will zoom the map view to that location. This search does not affect the displayed charts based on filters on the map view.
(Note: the map view doesn’t zoom to the coordinate/pin)
To locate a particular set of coordinates in the map view (in WGS 84), enter coordinates as decimals in the 'Coordinates box', e.g. -36.2333333 and 175.2533333. If the coordinates entered are valid, a blue pin will be displayed in the map view at the location of the coordinates entered. The map view does not zoom to the entered coordinates but will allow multiple pins to be entered/shown. The pins get removed by resetting the map view. This search does not affect the displayed charts based on filters on the map view.
