Electoral - streets and places
LINZ publishes the Index of Streets and Places for electoral purposes. The Index is used by electoral returning officers to assist in registering special votes in the correct electorate on election day.
Download a digital printout of the Index to Places & Streets (ZIP 1MB), published on 20 July 2015, six monthly.
The Index of Streets and Places is available in hard-copy for sale from the Electoral Commission’s Enrolment Services team.
Authoritative Streets and Places Database
In June 2014, LINZ moved the information from the Authoritative Streets and Places database (ASP) into Landonline and the database is no longer maintained. An archived version of the ASP data can be accessed via the LINZ Data Service.
