New Zealand Geospatial Office
The New Zealand Geospatial Office (NZGO) coordinates the implementation of the New Zealand Geospatial Strategy.
The NZGO helps to ensure geospatial (also called location-based) information can be readily found, shared and used, and facilitates collaboration within the geospatial community. Government's geospatial information is a proven catalyst for economic growth and improved government efficiency. To better connect that information, NZGO is leading the implementation of a Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI).
