Charts & Hydrographic Services
LINZ produces specialised nautical charts to aid safe navigation in New Zealand waters and certain areas of Antarctica and the South West Pacific. Search the chart catalogue, find chart retailers, and download digital charts.
LINZ publishes annual and fortnightly Notices to Mariners (NTMs). Download NTMs or subscribe to receive fortnightly notification emails.
About the New Zealand Nautical Almanac, list of lights used for nautical navigation, NAVAREA XIV warnings, NZ Coastal Navigational Warnings, maritime safety, maritime boundaries and astronomical information.
An introduction to the cause and nature of tides and tidal streams, daily tide predictions, information required to calculate tide times and heights, and tidal stream prediction tables.
Notify LINZ of new or suspected dangers to navigation, changes in aids to navigation, or recommended corrections to publications.
