Overseas Investment assessment reports for the acquisition of forest land in Marlborough region and for standing consent to acquire land for forestry activities throughout New Zealand.
OneFortyOne Plantations Holdings Pty Ltd acquired a freehold interest in 2,411 hectares of forest land in Wairau Valley, Marlborough and 100% shareholding in Nelson Forests Limited. Nelson Forests Limited held land interests at Awatere, Brightwater, Kainui, Korere, Linkwater, Moutere, Opouri, Rainy River, Serpentine, Te Hepe, Wairau and Wakamarina forests and at Kaituna Sawmill when OneFortyOne Plantations Holdings Pty Ltd purchased its shares.
Nelson Forests Limited was subsequently granted standing consent to acquire further New Zealand land for forestry activities.
