Remove a multi-factor authentication option

How to remove a multi-factor authentication (MFA) option for logging into New Landonline.

You must always have 1 MFA option for logging into New Landonline.

Before you remove an MFA option

Before you remove an MFA option, you need to have your new option set up first. Otherwise, you'll be blocked from removing it.

Step 1. Go to Login options from your main menu

Select the main menu at the top right-hand corner of your New Landonline page.

Select Login options from your main menu.

Once selected, a separate login options page will pop up in a new tab. Close that tab if you want to return to New Landonline.

Step 2. Select the delete icon next to your chosen MFA option

Red delete icons, like bins, sit on the right-hand side of each MFA option.

Select the red delete icon next to the MFA option you want to delete.

 

Always have 1 MFA option

You must always have 1 MFA option to log into New Landonline.

Step 3. Select the Remove button

An alert box will pop up to confirm you want to remove your MFA option.

Select the Remove button to delete the MFA option.

A green box will then appear to confirm the MFA option was removed.

Close your browser tab to go back to your Landonline page.

 

Shows the close button, usually an x, at the top right hand corner of the browser window or tab of the Login options page

 

Removed an MFA option by mistake

If you remove an MFA option by mistake you go to the Log in options screen from your main menu and add it again.
