The proposal is to alter Horomatangi Reef to Horomatangi Reefs as the official name for a pair of volcanic reefs in the east of Lake Taupō / Taupōmoana, centred 5.2km west-southwest of Te Kohaiakahu Point, southwest of Waitahanui (locality).
