What is proposed?
To alter Matakoa Re-entrant to Matakaoa Re-entrant, and make it the official name of a large undersea re-entrant offshore from East Cape.
The NZGB considered this proposal report at its meeting on 2 April 2020. The proposal is notified for one month so that the public can make submissions supporting or objecting to the name.
