Section 70 of the Land Transfer Act 1952 sets out certain circumstances when the Registrar-General of Land may remove a redundant or expired easement or profit à prendre from the Register.

This guideline provides additional guidance on the application and registration procedures for the removal of such redundant easements. It is intended for use by persons who wish to apply for the removal of a redundant easement or profit à prendre and by persons with delegated authority to undertake registration functions on behalf of the Registrar-General of Land under the Land Transfer Act 1952.
