This document outlines a proposed vision and strategy for Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ, the department, or us/we) to manage Crown pastoral land in New Zealand.

Pastoral lessees need the consent of the Commissioner of Crown Lands before carrying out various activities on the land. The OIA response provides a summary of the discretionary consent applications since May 2018 consented to and declined.
