What is proposed?
To alter Whareama Sea Valleys to Whareama Valley, and make it the official name of an undersea valley offshore from the Wairarapa coast.
The NZGB considered this proposal report at its meeting on 2 April 2020. The proposal is notified for one month so that the public can make submissions supporting or objecting to the name.
