The Applicant is a US company incorporated for the purpose of this investment. It is an investment vehicle of a widely held private equity fund managed by entities affiliated with Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R). CD&R is a US-based private equity investment group which originates, structures and frequently acts as lead equity investor in management buyouts, strategic minority equity investments and other strategic investments.

The Applicant is seeking consent to acquire LABL Holding Corporation (LABL). LABL is in the process of acquiring a company that owns New Zealand businesses that predominantly supply pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeve packaging and linerless wraps.
