The Applicant is ultimately owned by TA Associates, a global private equity firm. TA Associates already business operations in New Zealand.

Clanwilliam Headquarters Limited provides digital software to the healthcare industry. By acquiring Clanwilliam Headquarters Limited, the Applicant will acquire the New Zealand subsidiaries, Toniq Limited, Konnect Net Limited, HealthLink Group Limited, and Clanwilliam NZ Limited. 

This application was subject to a national interest assessment because the Applicant is a non-New Zealand Government investor. The Minister of Finance has decided that the Investment is not contrary to New Zealand’s national interest.

Consent was granted as the Applicant has met the investor test criterion.
