Over 2011-14, we will deliver the Government’s priorities, continue to improve our core operational service delivery, and leverage new value from our existing operations to benefit New Zealanders.

The Crown Pastoral Land Regulatory System is part of the broader Crown Land Regulatory System. The Crown Land Regulatory System creates the framework by which the Crown can buy and sell land, in a way that balances both public interests and private property rights. Land Information New Zealand (LINZ), the New Zealand Hydrographic Authority (NZHA) presents the second edition of New Zealand’s long-term national hydrographic survey plan – HYPLAN.

As a contracting government to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), New Zealand has an obligation to arrange to collect and compile hydrographic data, and to publish, disseminate and update all nautical information necessary for safe navigation (SOLAS Chapter V, Regulation 9).
