Set up Notice to Mortgagee

How to enter a bank client reference so a Notice to Mortgagee can be sent to lenders when a dealing is registered.

When a dealing is registered, copies of registered mortgages and updated Record of titles are automatically sent to subscribed lenders. For example, banks.

This Notice to Mortgagee (NtM) function in Landonline replaces the need for the acting solicitor to forward post-registration searches to the lender.

To set this up you'll need to enter the Bank client reference in your dealing. The letter of instruction from the lender will tell you what you need to enter.

Add a bank client reference

You'll need a bank client reference to set up a Notice to Mortgagee.

  1. Start from the Prepare page for mortgages. You can be in any mode.
  2. When you add a mortgagee a Bank client reference field will appear.
  3. Enter the reference. It's a free text field so you can enter words, numbers and symbols. You have up to 100 characters.
