High definition aerial laser survey of Taranaki completed
A groundbreaking high-tech aerial laser survey that captures an exact 3D map of Taranaki's land surface has just been completed - providing valuable data for a wide range of uses. Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) has partnered with Taranaki Regional Council on the LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) survey to gather land-surface and elevation data.
