Historic Coordinate & Height Orders

Prior to May 2010 a different set of Orders was used to describe the accuracy of NZGD2000 and RSRGD2000 coordinates and normal-orthometric heights.

NZGD1949 coordinates also had its own unique Order system.

In this section I roto i tēnei wāhanga

  • Historic Normal-Orthometric Height Orders

This table lists the vertical orders used with normal-orthometric heights in New Zealand. These orders were superseded in May 2010.
  • Historic NZGD2000 & RSRGD2000 Orders

These Orders were superseded in May 2010.
  • NZGD1949 D Coordinates

NZGD1949 D coordinates are coordinates that were computed and adjusted in terms of NZGD2000 and then transformed into NZGD1949 using the grid transformation.
  • NZGD1949 Orders

New Zealand Geodetic Datum 1949 (NZGD1949) is a horizontal datum so coordinates in terms of it are two-dimensional.
